NEW DELHI: India reported its second Covid-19 death on Friday, with a 68-year-old woman from Delhi who had tested positive for novel coronavirus succumbing to the infection. The woman's son, who had recently returned from Europe, had earlier tested positive for the virus.
"The death of a 68-year-old female from west Delhi (mother of a confirmed case of Covid-19), is confirmed to be caused due to co-morbidity (diabetes and hypertension). She has also tested positive for Covid-19," the health ministry said in a statement issued late at night
